Commercial Projects

Burrell Foley Fischer LLP has a wide range of experience in the commercial sector.  We have designed buildings and interiors for office use, including high specification workspaces, reception areas, and meeting rooms.  We have experience of providing the full range of conference facilities, including lecture theatres, meeting rooms, dining facilities, professional kitchens and associated accommodation.  We have successfully designed a number of mixed-use schemes which have included residential units, office space, retail, and bars and restaurants.

We understand the importance of balancing the mix of quality, budget and timescale that is crucial to the success of commercial projects.  We have a strong track record in working with clients to establish a ‘brand’ appropriate to their project and ensuring that their requirements are fully met.

Office Fit-out for a Charitable Trust

The fit-out of new offices for a major Charitable Trust in the Peak building, close to Victoria Station in Central London.  Our clients have leased an entire floor of 1,000 sq m (10,800 sq ft).

We carried our space planning, design of the reception and partitioning to form meeting rooms and private offices.  We also advised on the selection of new furniture and the re-use of their existing furniture where appropriate.  The project was completed to programme and within budget.
26-36 Wharfdale Road, London

Burrell Foley Fischer LLP secured Planning Permission for the redevelopment of this former purpose-built industrial printing works building, within the Kings Cross Conservation Area, into offices and small business units.

The internal layout includes two floors of open plan office space and two floors of managed workspace, providing office space for small businesses. The existing pitched roof was replaced with a new storey, set back so that it recedes from view when seen from street level, and using predominantly glazed elevations to distinguish the contemporary addition.

Noah’s Yard, York Way, London

Burrell Foley Fischer LLP obtained Planning Permission for this office building in the heart of London’s Kings Cross/St Pancras area.  6,000 sq ft of office accommodation is provided over five floors.

There is a ground floor restaurant with its main elevation onto a busy London street and external seating in the quieter rear courtyard, opening onto the Regent’s Quarter development.  The front façade retains the building’s historic character, with the original variety of bricks and painted signage retained, while a glazed rear elevation allows natural light into the modern office accommodation.
