Faye Davies

Faye Davies is an Architect with expertise in the conservation of historic buildings.

Faye has been the Project Architect for a number of projects at the Listed Grade I headquarters of the Royal Society in Carlton House Terrace.  These include the refurbishment of the space previously occupied by the Society's library, to create the Royal Society Centre for the History of Science, providing study, exhibition, and meeting facilities in an atmosphere that reflects the Society's commitment to excellence and inspiration and equally provides for the safe-keeping of its collections.

At UWC Atlantic College, Faye has been the project architect for the refurbishment of the Great Hall and the Library in their Grade I Listed Medieval St Donat's Castle.  In addition she is the Project Architect for the refurbishment and remodelling of the Listed Grade II Cavalry Barracks to form a Pre-IB centre for the college, providing teaching and accommodation facilities for 15 and 16 year old students.

Faye has recently been contributing her expertise as a Conservation Architect to the proposals for the refurbishment of the Picture House, Campbeltown, a Listed Grade A cinema on the west coast of Scotland.  She has completed the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings "The Repair of Old Buildings" course and is on the RIBA Register of Conservation Architects. Faye is currently studying for the Graduate Diploma in Building Conservation at the Architectural Association.
